Transport hub planned for Jiading

THE city plans to build a large transport hub in the suburban Jiading District's Nanxiang railway station where the Shanghai-Nanjing high-speed railway route has a stop.
The hub is expected to combine railway, Metro, bus and taxi, according to the plan which is currently soliciting public opinion.
Metro Line 17 will connect to the hub, according to the plan.
Shanghai saw its biggest transport hub put into service in Hongqiao in April. The high-speed rail route has a terminal there.
