Tricycle rider dies after altercation

A MOTOR tricycle rider died after a quarrel with two men on Saturday, Putuo District police said yesterday.
The suspects have been detained, police said.
The dispute started after the tricycle, ridden by Ai Deqing, blocked the path of the suspects' car outside a supermarket at 2pm, police said.
The two sides argued and fought after the men got out of their car.
Ai, 41, collapsed to the ground after the fight was broken up by bystanders.
He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Police found the owner of the car had lent the vehicle to two employees, surnamed Ma and Chen.
The suspects were caught 12 hours later at their residences.
Ai, from Jiangxi Province, made a living by transporting goods on his tricycle.
