UBPA stamps now fast tracks to hot pavilions

Visitors to the World Expo who have collected 15 stamps from pavilions at the Urban Best Practice Area will be able to get a reservation ticket to the China Pavilion or the Saudi Arabia Pavilion starting tomorrow.

The measure is one of several to attract people to tour the Puxi section, especially the UBPA, to balance visitor flow between the banks of the Huangpu River. Only 10 percent of Expo visitors had been to the UBPA, and each visitor who went there would see three to five pavilions on average.

Sun Liansheng, director of the UBPA, said this morning that about 1,000 booklets called a "city name card" would be distributed at the information desk in the area's north.

Between 900 and 1,000 reservation tickets to the China Pavilion every day are available at the UBPA, and about 500 to the Saudi Arabia Pavilion each week. People can book a visit to one of the two after collecting 15 stamps.
