THE United Nations Pavilion is hosting a meeting on the theme "UN in Our Daily Lives" at 2pm today to discuss communication between the organization and people around the world.
Kiyo Akasaka, UN under-secretary-general for communications and public information and other officials in charge of communications for key organizations, including the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the International Atomic Energy Authority (IAEA), the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the UN Environment Program (UNEP), the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) and the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), will attend the meeting.
More than 100 guests, including journalism school students from local universities and representatives from the media, are expected to participate in the forum.
Visitors to the UN Pavilion are also welcome to join the discussions.
