TWO men attacked a family in a suspected burglary attempt early Saturday morning, killing one person and injuring three in a villa in Qingpu District, police said yesterday. The villa's owner came to the house with his wife, parents and parents-in-law to spend the weekend.
At about 2am, the man heard sounds from his parents bedroom. He went to check but was stabbed by one of two men who emerged from the room. The duo then stabbed the villa owner's wife before fleeing. The owner found his father and mother injured in their room. His father later died in hospital. Police are still hunting the men involved in the attack.
