Wal-Mart fracas

PUTUO District police have arrested two people who beat up a customer at Wal-Mart's Taopu outlet for complaining about expired sausage bought at the hypermarket. The consumer, surnamed Hu, said he and his friend bought two packages of sausage on April 16. When he was checking out, he found that the sausage was past its sell-by date and informed the market staff. About 20 minutes later four men arrived, dragged them out of the store and beat them up. Both Hu and Zhang suffered severe injuries. The police are still investigating the ties between the men and Wal-Mart.
