A WOMAN who allegedly killed her husband 16 years ago has been arrested, Minhang District People鈥檚 Procuratorate said.
The suspect, surnamed Yu, had asked her husband Li Ming for a divorce after she discovered he was having an affair. He initially agreed but then threatened to hurt her family. Yu turned on the gas in the kitchen, causing Li to die of carbon monoxide poisoning. In April 2018, she confessed to police after being picked up for not having an ID card. Yu will go on trial for murder.
