Woman killed with cleaver

SHANGHAI police are searching for a man from Henan Province who allegedly chopped his wife to death with a meat cleaver in their apartment in Pudong New Area yesterday.
According to witnesses, the couple started a fierce quarrel about 2pm at their residence in Tangzhen Township. The outraged husband chopped the woman with a cleaver and fled. Police said the 28-year-old woman was pronounced dead after emergency treatment in a nearby hospital.
