AN old woman was killed yesterday after being hit by a construction vehicle in Zhabei District.
The vehicle was driving fast as the woman was crossing a road about 10:30am. A witness said the woman was dragged for about 20 meters. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene after paramedics arrived. The driver was taken into police custody.
