SEVEN former employees of a local power erection company were jailed from four months to five months yesterday for stealing cables, the Zhabei District People's Court ruled yesterday. The seven workers, wearing company uniforms, were maintaining electric wires near the Pengpu neighborhood when they stole aerial cables valued at 4,370 yuan (US$642) on May 17.
