Yellow alerts for rain, lightning

RAIN and lightning will probably hit the city today.
The Shanghai Meteorological Bureau issued yellow alerts for lightning and rain at 12:40pm today. It was expected that lightning would hit the city within six hours and more than 35 millimeter of rain would drop fall in an hour in the mid and eastern part of the city.
Temperatures today will fall up to six degrees Celsius. The temperature drop to about 29 degrees from yesterday's high of 35 degrees, but people will still feel uncomfortable because of the high humidity, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said.
The rain will last until Wednesday when it will turn cloudy and temperatures will rise gradually peaking at about 33 degrees on Friday. The low temperatures will sit at about 24 degrees through the week.
Yesterday the highest temperature at Xujiahui was 34.9 degrees with humidity between 50 and 70 percent.
