THE fourth World Forum on China Studies, which is dedicated to exchanges and dialogues between scholars engaged in China studies globally, is launched in the city today. Around 280 academics, including 80 overseas scholars from 20 countries and regions are expected to participate in the two-day forum. Prizes will be awarded to those who have made special contributions to studies on China, said the Shanghai Information Office and the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences.
