Stalls near school sell sex drugs, porn films

PARENTS complained after some of the stalls set up outside a high school were selling pornographic movies, sex toys and drugs such as Viagra in Yangpu District, the Xinmin Evening News reported yesterday.
The stalls also were across from the district's urban management authority, the newspaper reported.
The stalls appeared on the sidewalk of Shuangyang Road near Kongjiang Road on the weekends, turning the street into a bazaar.
Some of the racier merchandise upset the residents since stalls were set up right outside of Kongjiang High School, one of the top schools in Shanghai.
A resident surnamed Liu worried because students are still present at the school on weekends.
According to the newspaper, the stalls were set up about 3pm on Sunday. Vendors would occupy about 100 meters of the sidewalk from the intersection of Shuangyang Road and Kongjiang Road to the gate of the high school with stalls built of wooden cases that had been brought in on scooters.
