LOCAL schools will receive more students from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Tibet Autonomous Region by 2014, the Shanghai education Commission said yesterday. The city had more than 3,700 Tibetan and Xinjiang students in local secondary schools last year and is to invest 100 million yuan (US$14.7 million) for their studies and living in the city this year.
