MORE than 5,000 internship positions will be on offer for local college and university students to gain practical experience during the summer vacation, the Youth League Committee said amid a glut in job opportunities.
The positions are mostly in the financial and IT industries, varying from sales to administrative positions.
About 500 university students will take up temporary assignments at different government bodies - from neighborhood committee, town government and administrations to serve the public while gaining front-line work experiences as well.
