Website Employees Want Their Money
EMPLOYEES of an online group-purchase website are complaining to their company that they want to get paid.
A salesman surnamed Li of Liantuan001.com told a local newspaper that he and other employees of the Shanghai office of the website had not been paid enough salary since September. "They owe me more than a month's salary," Li told the Shanghai Evening Post. "The total salary that was kept back in our office has reached 100,000 yuan (US$15,700)."
No one was answering the hotline of the website.
A Beijing-based company that owns the website reportedly denied the back-salary issue of the employees in Shanghai.
