Angry performer throws TV show into disarray

A CONTESTANT at yesterday's popular "China's Got Talent" show flew into a rage after three judges eliminated her from the competition. She scolded the judges and blamed them for match-fixing, sending the game into chaos.

Although the scene was cut by the show's director and was not broadcast on television later yesterday, it was recorded by the audience who uploaded the video to the Internet, stirring heated discussion.

In the video, Chen Jing, a Shanghai competitor performed her unique skill -- singing while lifting three adult men on her back. But the three judges announced that she was out after her performance.

Chen lost control and rushed to the center of the stage, shouting repeatedly, "It's all fake!" to the judges and the audience.

The show was paused as a dozen staff workers jumped onto the stage trying to calm her down. But Chen's husband also went up with his colleagues and tackled the security guards.

The chaos lasted two minutes. Finally Chen's husband was pulled away by a bodyguard of the judges, with an arm around the man's neck.

"Why you 10 men can't get them out of the stage?" asked Gao Xiaosong, one of the three judges. "Shanghai men sucks."

In the video, Gao's words angered the audience as many male spectators hissed from the crowd.
The video on the popular Youku.com website has attracted over 16,900 clicks after it was uploaded this morning.
