Construction of castle begins at Disneyland

CONSTRUCTION began yesterday on Shanghai Disneyland's main castle, setting another milestone in the amusement park's development.
The Enchanted Storybook Castle, designed to be the world's tallest and largest Disney castle, will be the centerpiece of Shanghai Disneyland.
Workers sank the first pile into the ground for the castle's foundations yesterday.
The Enchanted Storybook Castle will combine first-class entertainment, dining and performance venues. Its winding staircase will lead visitors on a "Once Upon a Time Adventure" with unforgettable experiences.
The castle will also feature a boat ride that passes through a secret underground chamber in which fountains of light will dance in shimmering pools and surround visitors with magic, music and color.
