Disney Resort developer seeks feedback on hotel design

SHANGHAI Disney Resort, the first Disney resort in Chinese Mainland, will contain two seven-floor hotels when it opens in late 2015, according to the blueprint revealed by its developer, Shanghai International Tourism and Resorts Zone.

"Hotel One" is close to the southern gate of the Disneyland Park. It will overlook an artificial lake and have a built-up space of 64,750 square meters, including a ballroom and parking for nearly 300 cars.

"Hotel Two" is in the west of the resort and close to the tourist parking lot and a theme park. It has a built-up space of 80,940 square meters with a parking lot for 400 cars.

SITRZ is now soliciting public opinion on the design of the two hotels and people can make suggestions by email to djqgw@pudong.gov.cn before September 3.
