Disneyland hotels taking shape in Pudong

Two Shanghai Disneyland hotels have entered the stage of concrete pouring. When completed, the two hotels, one luxury and one economic, will offer 1,220 guest rooms and a variety of dining, shopping and recreational venues.
Both hotels will feature Disneyland themes in design to appeal to families on vacation. Booking by families at home and abroad is expected to increase after the amusement park opens in 2015.
Shanghai Disneyland is Disney’s first theme park on the Chinese mainland and its sixth in the world. It is expected to receive 7.3 million visitors a year.
The park’s first-phase construction began in May. It includes the Enchanted Storybook Castle which will be the largest in the world.
