Documentary tells story of city battle

HONGKOU District government released a documentary containing interviews with 22 soldiers who fought in and witnesses of the Battle of Songhu, fought in Shanghai in 1937, at an exhibition which opened yesterday.
The film is the main feature at a free exhibition at the Memorial Site of the 4th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, marking the 70th anniversary of the surrender of Japan.
