‘Great Wall’ for charity

ITEMS from director Zhang Yimou’s latest epic historical film “The Great Wall” were auctioned for charity in Shanghai yesterday. They included ancient weapons and costumes. The auction raised more than 250,000 yuan (US$36,000) for the China Foundation for Cultural Heritage Conservation project to preserve the Great Wall.
