Happy Valley 'justified'
LOCAL quality authorities yesterday said the "under-adjustment" explanation provided by Happy Valley amusement park officials for repeated glitches of its rides was "justified."
The Shanghai Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision said that sudden stops on some facilities should be blamed on the sensitivity settings of the rides. "We even believe the so-called 'glitches' are good because the facilities are sensitive to possible danger," said Shen Weimin, deputy director of the bureau.
