Landscape lights to welcome 2014

Landscape lights will be turned on in downtown areas, along the Huangpu River, the former World Expo site and some elevated roads from 6pm to 10:30pm today to ring in the New Year.
The landscape lighting will also be turned on from 6pm to 12:30am on January 30, the Chinese Lunar New Year Eve, and from 6pm to 10:30pm from January 31 to February 4 to celebrate the Spring Festival, the Shanghai Greenery and Public Sanitation Bureau said.
