Photo show opens in downtown Metro station

The "Charms of Shanghai" photo exhibition opened in the atrium of People's Square Metro station on March 23. It is held jointly by the Shanghai Photographer Association and Shanghai Shentong Metro Group as part of the first Shanghai Citizens Art Festival.
More than 50 photos by professional and amateur photographers are on display, reflecting the city's achievements, heritages, and people's wisdom and their daily life. The pictures are much better in quality and illustrate the beauty of Shanghai from different perspectives.
It is the first time that a photo exhibition is held in a subway station that has a high traffic volume. Most of photos are big in size, enabling people to see them clearly from a distance.
