Zhoushan in Zhejiang Province is considering introducing seaplanes to open a route to Shanghai to promote tourism.
Wang Zhongzhi, vice mayor of Zhoushan City, said from Shanghai to Zhoushan it would take 40 minutes. “Perhaps the seaplanes could land on the Huangpu River or Dishuihu Lake,” Wang said.
