Shanghai shows its best on Tian'anmen Square
THE video shows landmark scenery of Shanghai such as the Bund, Lujiazui skyscrapers, the World Expo Site, the canal town of Zhujiajiao, and the Donghai Bridge in the East China Sea.
The five-minute video was made by the Shanghai Municipal Government Information Office and it has been shown on the LED screen in the Tian'anmen Square since October 17 along with promotion videos from other municipalities and provinces.
The giant screen was erected in 2009 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Shanghai was asked last year to provide a publicity film for display on that screen which has shown more than 50 non-commercial videos.
