Stuttgart Orchestra To Strike First Notes
THE Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra, from Germany, will give the first concert for the 2010 World Expo on the morning of May 1, the opening day, at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center.
British conductor Sir Roger Norrington will conduct Prokofieff's "Piano Concerto No. 2" and Elgar's "Enigma Variations" for the inauguration of the Expo.
