Sweet sounds at art festival

FAMOUS violinist Gidon Kremer will play at Shanghai Oriental Art Center during the 11th Shanghai International Arts Festival.
Kremer has established a global reputation as an original and compelling artist with more than 100 albums, many of which brought him prestigious international awards for his exceptional interpretations.
He will play with his Grammy-award winning chamber orchestra Kremerata Baltica, at 7:30pm on November 18.
And two German orchestras from Leipzig will stage concerts in the city next month. Rundfunk Blasorchester Leipzig will perform at 7:30pm on October 2 at Shanghai Concert Hall. Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra will play at 7:30pm on October 21 and 22 at Shanghai Grand Theater.
