TV version of 'Love O2O' to air on Dragon TV
FOLLOWING the popularity of the romance film "Love O2O," the TV series version of the youth campus love story will start its airing on Dragon TV on Monday. The cast of the series held a meeting with media yesterday.
Both the TV series and film are adapted from the well-known online novel by Gu Man. Starring Yang Yang and Zheng Shuang, the series is about a romance which unexpectedly starts from the virtual world of a video game. It also depicts the vivid campus life and emotions of college students in China today.
Many of Gu's online novels have been put onto the screen, including "My Sunshine" and "Boss & Me." In terms of the writer's vast fan base on the Internet, all of them are high rated TV series. Adapting successful online romance and fantasy novels into film and TV drama has also become a hot trend of China's film and TV industry.
