SHANGHAI will launch more air pollution prevention measures this year, including banning straw burning, authorities said yesterday.
In response to public complaints that the city's air quality and environment have deteriorated after the World Expo, a post-Expo management system has been worked out. Among other things, it will target construction sites and large factories for air pollution checks.
