Work nearly complete on greening riverside

MORE than 70 percent of a new greenbelt along the Huangpu River in Binjiang has been planted, officials said today.
The 8.4-kilometer greenbelt along Zhongshan No.2 Road S. will be open to the public before the World Expo, said Wang Qiwen, an official with Xuhui District government.
More than 10 factories have been removed and the riverside gardens are due to open at the end of March.
