Yangtze oil leak cleaned up
SHANGHAI maritime authorities said yesterday they will keep monitoring the oil leak at the mouth of Yangtze River after two ships collided on Tuesday.
Maritime officials said most of the leak has been cleaned up and no further leak has been found. Within two days about 100 tons of fuel leaked to the waters at the river?s mouth, said officials, adding that over 30 cleaning vessels were dispatched.
