Expat honored

US expat Daniel Howard, who teaches at Shanghai Community International School and who is a traffic volunteer, helping keep road orders, was awarded “Top 10 Exemplary Resident in Promoting Traffic Rules” by the city government yesterday.
Other winners included bus and taxi drivers and non-governmental organizations. The government says there are 15,000 traffic volunteers around the city every day helping police.
