ELI Lilly has set up a diabetes research center in Shanghai to develop new chemicals targeting the disease and study new therapy for controlling glucose as well as other conditions like cardiac problems and obesity. The pharmaceutical company will recruit 100 researchers who will predominantly come from the Chinese mainland.
