City reports three more cases
SHANGHAI reported three new cases of H7N9 bird flu including a 74-year-old man died this afternoon. By 5pm today, Shanghai has a total of 18 people infected with H7N9 virus, which has killed six ones.
Eleven patients are undergoing treatment in isolation, while a 3-year-old boy has discharged with recovery, said Shanghai Health and Family Planning Commission.
All the three new cases were elderly Shanghainese. None of their close contacts have developed flu-like symptoms.
