THE Shanghai Health Bureau said the incidence of infectious diseases in the city last year remained at a low level. The prevalence of hand, foot and mouth disease dropped.
The bureau warned residents and Expo visitors to be cautious about encephalitis B, dysentery, dengue fever and acute hemorrhagic conjunctivitis as these diseases peak in August.
