Emergency Kits On Way To Families

THE city is starting deliveries of free emergency kits to 250,000 families today, in preparation for potential disasters such as earthquake and fire, local authorities said yesterday. Each kit contains more than 10 items, including a flashlight, disposable ice bag, string and mask.
Families picking up the kits must receive training on the use of the rescue and alarm equipment.
