AMBULANCES and paramedics have been busy of late due to the hot, humid and stormy weather, the city's medical emergency center said yesterday.
Over 800 people, 10 percent more than usual, called ambulances for help each day over the weekend, the center said. Heatstroke, stroke and injuries from car accidents were the main reasons for emergency calls since Friday.
