EuroEyes to open Shanghai clinic
THE German EuroEyes Group announced to set up an eye clinic in Shanghai, its first in China, and to launch a charity program with the China Children and Teenager Fund to offer regular eye test and treatment to students of the Shanghai Blind School.
The clinic will be the first approved foreign medical facility after Shanghai introduced a policy last month to encourage social investment in the local health market.
The clinic in Jin Mao Tower in Pudong will hire half of its staff from Germany. Chinese patients can go to EuroEyes headquarters in Hamburger for surgery.
