Experts Warn
CITY experts have warned that a second and third wave of swine flu could spread this autumn and next spring, coinciding with the start of the Shanghai 2010 World Expo.
The deadly 1918 Spanish flu pandemic didn't cause much trouble when it broke out in May 1918, but the situation deteriorated in the autumn when a second wave of the virus spread, followed by a third wave in the spring of 1919, said Xiong Sidong, a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
