Free condoms for college students

COLLEGE students in Shanghai can get free condoms on campus and condom vending machines have been installed in some dormitory buildings, the local birth control office said.
Free condoms are available in dormitories, bathrooms and laundries where students can reach easily. They are also provided at school clinics.
Tang Wenjuan, a city official in charge of birth control, told Shanghai Daily that vending machines placed outdoors on campus proved popular among students so they decided to offer free condoms to meet their needs.
Vending machines in dormitory buildings provide an alternative to students. "The condoms bought from vending machines are in better quality than the free ones. Students can choose themselves," said Tang.
