Girl's Care 'Effective'

THIRTY-THREE-MONTH-OLD Xiang Weiyi, the last survivor of the deadly trash crash on July 23, is receiving "very effective" treatment at Shanghai's Xinhua Hospital, a Japanese doctor visiting the girl said yesterday.
The young patient received group consultation by experts from home and abroad including the Japanese rehabilitation doctor.
Dr Shigeko Fujisawa of the International University of Health and Wealth checked Xiang yesterday and discussed her situation and treatment with local doctors.
