Hair today a reward for Peng's good deed

A BALD man will soon have a healthy head of hair because he took an elderly man to hospital after he fainted in the street.
Peng Jun carried 78-year-old Fan more than a kilometer to a hospital in Pudong New Area. The 37-year-old migrant worker even pretended to be his son and paid the registration fee so he could be treated as quickly as possible but left without giving his name.
That was four years ago.
Then, last September, Fan spotted a familiar figure on a bicycle. He particularly recognized Peng's bald head and followed him to the factory where he worked.
Fan contacted a local newspaper which reported the story, including the fact that Peng's bald head made it difficult for him to find a wife.
When doctors at a local hospital saw the story, they contacted Peng and yesterday he successfully underwent free hair-transplant surgery.
