High Radiation In Quarter Of Homes Tested

ALMOST a quarter of householders who recently tested their homes for radiation recorded dangerously high levels, an industry association said yesterday.
The Shanghai Environmental Protection Industry Association rented radiation detectors to householders whose homes had recently been decorated. They checked for radiation that occurs naturally in granite and glaze.
Out of 294 households, 70 recorded high levels.
