THE Children's Hospital of Fudan University announced yesterday it will add 1,000 new beds at its facility in Minhang District as it celebrated its 60th anniversary. The hospital currently has 711 beds. It handles 2 million outpatient and emergency services, as well as more than 13,000 operations per year on average.
