Hospital receives internationally recognized certification for green practices

Huadong Hospital became the world’s first medical lab to receive the Green Laboratory Practices Certification.
US-based Underwriter Laboratories Inc, a non-profit safety consulting and certification company, issues the internationally recognized certification to environmentally friendly labs and products.
Huadong Hospital’s lab uses environmentally friendly equipment, creating no pollution and reducing electricity use by 75 percent.
