Officials Find No Evidence Of Banned Ingredients
OFFICIALS from the state food safety office claimed yesterday that a recent check on additives used in hotpot did not reveal any banned ingredients.
The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine checked 385 food flavor manufacturers and found no evidence of the use of improper materials.
However, some were found to have incomplete records of -production and improper indications on labels and had been asked to rectify the situation, Xinhua news agency said.
