Patients tracked
A PATIENT who calls an ambulance by cell phone can now be tracked by a system developed to raise efficiency and locate callers who are too ill to give an accurate address over cell phone, the Shanghai Health Bureau announced yesterday.
Shanghai's ambulance service is facing rising demand. By the end of last month, the city's Medical Emergency Center had dispatched 230,000 ambulances, compared with 223,000 last year.
