Shanghai Milk OK

OFFICIALS from Shanghai Food and Drug Administration said yesterday local authorities have found no melamine-tainted formula milk in recent checks.
"Melamine is a must-test item for all milk-related products in Shanghai now," said Gu Zhenhua, director of Shanghai FDA's food inspection department. "Any products failing to pass the test will be examined thoroughly, and forwarded for investigation and punishment if tainted products and illegal practice are confirmed."
